Ministers of oil, health, electricity to be questioned soon

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of the parliamentary integrity committee on Sunday said that the Parliament will summon the ministers of oil, health and electricity for questioning during its upcoming sessions. “There are requests to question the oil minister, Hussein al-Shahrestani, over the utter failure of his ministry, which has led to the collapse of the oil system in Iraq…,” Sabah al-Saedi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Another request has been submitted to question the minister of electricity, Kareem Waheed, over the deterioration of the electricity system,” Saedi noted, referring to a third request to summon the minister of health, Saleh al-Hasnawi. The Iraqi Parliament has questioned the minister of trade, Abdulfalah al-Sudani, on charges of administrative and financial corruption. SS (P)/SR 1
