February exports increase to 2.597 million barrels per day, says Oil Ministry
(IraqiNews.com) The Oil Ministry announced on Sunday, that the oil exports in February increased to 2.597 million barrels per day, pointing out that export rates did not exceed those rates due to bad weather conditions.
Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The preliminary statistical oil exports for the month of February witnessed a rise of 2.597 million barrels per day; 2.293 million barrels from the ports of Basra and 304 thousand from Kirkuk.”
Jihad added, “The total revenue is three billion, 449 million and 355 thousand dollars,” noting that, “The price of a barrel is 47 dollars and 431 cents.”
Jihad also indicated, “The exports were affected by the weather conditions which delayed loading of tankers.”
