Issawi visits U.S. to discuss bilateral relations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi headed on Thursday for the United States on a several days’ visit to meet with government officials and Congressmen on the future of relations between the two countries, a release by Issawi’s office read. “The visit involves meetings with the Iraqi community and businessmen as well as CEOs of U.S. corporations,” a spokesman for Issawi was quoted in the release received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
