Salah el-Din council sacks health official over financial corruption

SALAH EL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: The Salah el-Din council decided during its regular session on Monday to sack the director of the health department in the province and to refer him to the integrity commission over financial and administrative corruption charges. The council accused the director of the health department, Hassan Zein al-Abedeen Naqi, of signing fake contracts and illegal deals to buy medicines as well as housing his relatives in the houses of the health ministry, in addition to the bad health services presented to the citizens in the health sector. 22 members voted to sack him while only three members refused.
