Talabani praises UN official’s efforts in boosting cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani on Wednesday expressed his appreciation of the efforts made by the special representative of the United Nations secretary general for Iraq (SRSG), Staffan de Mistura, in boosting cooperation with the world organization, according to a presidential statement. “This came during Talabani’s reception in his Baghdad-based residence of the UN official, who has ended his tenure as the SRSG,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
