Parliament holds session to vote on forming water emergency committee

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament will hold its regular session on Thursday under Speaker Iyad al-Samarraie to vote on forming the water emergency committee at the parliament. “The session will discuss a report on violating the human rights and will vote on forming the emergency water committee at the parliament,” according to the parliament’s agenda received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The lawmakers will review also the report of the financial committee on pensions,” it added, noting that the session will witness also voting on the sports and youth ministry draft law and on the second amendment of the 2009 federal budget as well as the first reading of the amendment of the penal code bill.
