Current budget law behind economic stagnation, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee justified the current economic stagnation in the country by the 2015 federal budget in Iraq.

MP Jabar al-Abadi stated to IraqiNews.com “The federal budget contains only few investment projects,” noting that “The current economic stagnation and lack of investments are due to decrease of oil prices.”

He added “This stagnation is temporary and Iraqi economy might sooner witness noticeable development due to increase of oil prices.” /End/
