JOC: Iraqi forces to storm central Tikrit soon

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Headquarters of the Joint Operations Command confirmed, that storming central Tikrit is imminent and it was delayed only to reduce possible losses due to explosives in the center of the city.
Gen. Officer Saad Mo’en informed IraqiNews, “Joint forces are continuing to chase ISIS militants in all districts and on all frontlines,” pointing out that, “The security forces have taken over most of the areas of Tikrit except for the center.”
Earlier today, a source in Salahuddin told IraqiNews, that the security forces are blockading Tikrit from 3 directions.
