Police karate team represents Iraq in Arab tournament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The karate team of the Iraqi police sport club will represent Iraq in the Arab police tournament that will start in Lebanon by mid-June 2009, said the secretary general of the Iraq central federation for karate. “The tournament will take place in Beirut, from June 15 to 20, 2009,”Abbass Mahdi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Twelve Arab teams will participate in the tournament,” he said. “The Iraqi team will consist of seven players,” he added.
