Security forces repel ISIS assault on Amiriyat al-Fallujah

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a security source in Anbar province said, that the security forces have managed to repel an ISIS attack on the area of Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters have managed to repel an assault by the ISIS group militants on Amiriyat al-Fallujah which led to violent clashes between the two sides in the area.”
“Great losses in lives and equipment have been inflicted upon ISIS ranks during the clashes,” the source added.
“ISIS militants haven’t been able to penetrate the defense lines, wherefore the area remains under control of the security forces.”
