Houthis arrest Yemen’s DM, president leaves Aden

(IraqiNews.com) Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi left the city of Aden on Wednesday as the Houthis arrived on the outskirts of the city.
Informed sources said that local committees had withdrawn from the northern entrance of the city, pointing out that the Houthis arrested Defense Minister Mahmoud Subaihi.
Associated Press and France Press stated that Hadi left the city without details about the destination, but other sources told Sky News that he had left accompanied by one of the diplomatic missions.
This comes as the militants of Houthi group managed to control Anad airbase in Lahij province south of the country.
According to media reports, the armed elements looted a lot of weapons from the airbase, and were wearing Special Security Forces uniforms. They arrived to the base accompanied by only three tanks, as well as small arms and medium machine guns.
