Police officer’s house detonated in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunmen on Sunday blew up the house of a police officer in Falluja City, according to a local police source. “The house, located at Zawba village, was empty at the time of the explosion,” the source told Iraqi News. There has been no word on casualties, the source noted, adding that a security cordon was soon thrown around the scene. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital of the province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
