(IraqiNews.com) MP for the Arab sector in Kirkuk Khaled Mufriji said on Sunday, that the Turkmen Volunteer Fighters did not succeed in liberating Bashir village in the province, pointing to the need to adhere to patriotism while liberating cities.

Mufriji said in an interview with IraqiNews.com, “The Turkmen Volunteer Fighters could not break into Bashir village, which is occupied by ISIS, despite all their attempts,” stressing the need to “coordinate between the federal government and the province to liberate the village.”

Mufriji stressed the importance of “commitment to patriotism by maintaining people’s property and lives in the nearby villages to Bashir,” and expressed concerns about “repeating the mistakes committed in Salahuddin and Jarf al-Sakhr.”
