Casualties from Ramadi blast reach 26

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from the car bomb blast that ripped through Ramadi’s al-Jazeera area have reached 26, including eight dead, according to a local police source. “The dead included three police personnel, while the wounded, 18, included three in a critical condition,” the source told Iraqi News. The highway linking Ramadi to al-Khalidiya was blocked and tight security measures have been put in place, the source noted. Earlier today, the same source said that a suicide bomber detonated his car bomb near a police checkpoint in al-Jazeera area, western Ramadi, leaving an unknown number of casualties.
