ISIS militants release 216 Yazidi captives
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a local source in Kirkuk province said, that the ISIS group militants have released 216 Yazidis after holding them for 8 months in Nineveh province.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Today, ISIS militants have released 216 Yazidis after holding them in the prisons of Nineveh for over 8 months,” pointing out that, “Most of the freed captives were women, children and elderly persons.”
“They have arrived in the district of al-Rashad, 35 km southwest of Kirkuk,” the source added.
