Gunman killed in blast in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A gunman was killed when an improvised explosive device he was planting on a roadside in central al-Amiriya district, southern Falluja, went off on Thursday, a local police source said. “The gunman was killed in the blast and no civilian casualties were reported,” the source told Iraqi News. “A security cordon was imposed on the blast scene as security forces searched the area for possible other explosive charges the terrorist might have planted in the same place,” he added.
