BABAEL / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from Thursday’s bombing attacks in al-Musyyab district rose to eight deaths and 65 wounded after a number of injured people died at hospitals, the Babel health director said on Friday. “The casualties of a bombing attack near the Awlad Musallam shrine in al-Musayyab district, (45 km) north of al-Hilla, rose on Friday (Aug. 4) to eight deaths and 65 wounded after a number of injured people died,” Dr. Mahmoud Abdulreda told Iraqi News. “The condition of the rest of the wounded is stable and many of them have already been discharged from hospitals,” he added. A series of explosions ripped through the Awlad Musallam shrine on Thursday evening. A car bomb went off outside the shrine, followed by four improvised explosive device blasts inside. A source from the Babel police had told Aswat al-Iraq during a late hour of Thursday that the explosions left four people dead and 50 others wounded.
