IED blast in Babel kills civilian, wounds 4

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was killed and four of his family members, including two women, wounded on Sunday when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in the district of al-Iskandariya, northern Babel, a local police source said. “The family was visit a graveyard in al-Iskandariya, (50 km) north of al-Hilla city, when an IED planted in the cemetery went off, killing the family’s supporter and wounding the four others who were with him,” the source told Iraqi News. “The four wounded people were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source added. Hilla, the capital city of Babel province, lies 100 km south of Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
