4 wounded in IED blast in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Four persons, including two policemen, were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in southeastern Baghdad on Thursday, a security source said. “The IED, which was planed by unidentified persons on the main road in New Baghdad district, southeastern Baghdad, went off on Thursday (Aug. 27), went off as a police vehicle was driving by, wounding two policemen and two civilians others near the blast scene,” the source told Iraqi News. “Security forces sealed off the explosion site and carried the four wounded persons to a hospital for treatment,” he added.
