 Iraqi Army kills, wounds 14 terrorists in Anbar, says Defense Ministry

(IraqiNews.com) Al-Anbar – Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced Tuesday, that 14 terrorists have been either killed or injured in a security operation by the army forces in the area of al-Abra.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the 8th Brigade of Anbar Operations backed by Abrams Tanks conducted an artillery strike by mortar rounds against shelters for the terrorists in the area of al-Abra,” pointing out that, “The operation resulted in killing 7 terrorists and injuring 7 others, in addition to burning a number of vehicles and equipment.”
