(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad- on Monday, US Secretary of State John Kerry expressed his confidence to recover the city of Ramadi from ISIS in the coming weeks.

Kerry said at news conference reported by “Reuters” and followed by IraqiNews.com, “I am confident of the recovery of Ramadi in western Iraq from the hands of the organization of the Islamic state in the coming weeks.”

“I am convinced that as the forces are redeployed and as the days flow in the weeks ahead that’s going to change, as overall (they) have been driven back … I am absolutely confident in the days ahead that will be reversed,” Kerry added.

Anbar province has seen a banner security developments represented in ISIS control on important areas in Ramadi, while ISIS has executed dozens of people in the province, amid mounting calls to send reinforcements to the province.
