(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The cleric Moqtada al-Sadr announced on Saturday that he does not rule out that there are Saudi government parties that nurture extremism, noting that the presence of holy sites in the Kingdom does not mean the absence of “Arab spring”, while warned that the spring will come in the event of repeating Qatif incident.

Sadr said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “what happened in Qatif is not the first nor the last, especially with the lack of real deterrent from the Saudi government against the militants in the Kingdom.”

“I don’t rule out the existence of government parties that feed this miserable and hateful extremism against moderation in general,” al-Sadr added.

It is noteworthy that Qatif province, eastern Saudi Arabia, has seen on Friday (May 22, 2015) explosive suicide bombings targeted the Imam Ali mosque, killing 19 people and injuring about 100 others.
