(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Saturday the Peace Brigades announced the full liberation of nine square kilometers in the area of al-Jazirah in west of Samarra District.

The Media Office of the brigades said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Peace Brigades continue advancing into the area of al-Jazirah,” adding that, “The special regiments of the brigades managed to liberate nine square kilometers and remove more than 90 explosives.”

Earlier today, al-Hashed al-Sha’bi Militia announced that fierce clashes between al-Hashed al-Sha’bi forces and ISIS elements have broken out in al-Siniyah in north Salahuddin province.
