17 wanted men arrested, 2 missile launching pads seized in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Seventeen men wanted on “criminal” charges were captured and two missile launching pads seized during a security operation east of Basra city on Friday, a local police source said. “The police conducted search raids in different areas of eastern Basra, arresting 17 men wanted on different criminal scores and seizing two missile launching pads in the area of Nahr Jassem, (10 km) in the eastern part of the province,” the source told Iraqi News.
