15 wanted men nabbed, rockets, arms found in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Fifteen wanted persons on Thursday were arrested on criminal charges in Basra province, a local police source said, adding that rockets and weapons were seized during the operations. “Police forces carried out search raids in northern and eastern Basra, during which 15 wanted men were arrested on different criminal charges,” the source told Iraqi News. “Four Katyusha rockets and nine machine guns were found in Shatt al-Arab area, eastern Basra,” the source noted.
