Iraqi Amy foils ISIS attack on al-Baghdadi district, kills 21 militants

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday the seventh Army division commander Maj. Gen. Naumann Abdul-Zobaie announced, that the army forces foiled ISIS attack on Baghdadi district, stressing that 21 insurgents belonging to ISIS have been killed, as well as the destruction of two vehicles during the attack.
Abdul-Zobaie said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A force from the seventh division was able today to thwart an attack by ISIS militants on Baghdadi district (90 km west of Ramadi), killing 21 militants and destroying two vehicles carrying weapons.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The force obliged the rest of the militants to flee,” adding that “the armed attack was launched from Jaba area.”
