8 wanted men, suspects nabbed in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Tuesday captured eight wanted individuals and suspects and seized mortars during a security raid in Basra, according to a local security source. “Three persons were arrested on criminal charges, in addition to five suspects,” the source told Iraqi News. “A mortar of 60mm caliber was seized in Hamdan area (5 km south of Basra city),” the source noted.
