(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Local residents said on Sunday that ISIS erected giant display screens in the city of Ramadi used to announce that it will take over more Iraqi territory after dominating the city last month.

“Reuters” quoted the owner of a small shop for foods near one of the screens in central Ramadi as saying “They started displaying video clips about military operations in Iraq and the confessions of the captured soldiers.”

He added that “some of the programs encourage young people to adhere to the teachings of Islam and also show military training for young people to take up arms and how to fight.”

A government employee in Ramadi said: “It seems that they are trying to use the media as a weapon to improve their image and also to encourage people to join them.”

Residents pointed out that the material presented on screens distributed on CDs in the kiosks near the screens, which have been put by the militants near the central market in northern Ramadi.
