22 suspects, wanted men arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested 22 wanted and suspected gunmen during security operations in separate areas of Basra on Thursday, a security source said. “Security forces waged crackdown operations in separate areas of Basra , where they arrested 16 wanted men and six suspected gunmen,” the source told Iraqi News. “The forces seized a rocket in al-Salihiya region in Shatt al-Arab, eastern Basra as well as 500kg of drug,” he added.
