(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived on Wednesday to the Iranian capital Tehran on an official one-day visit.
Abadi’s office said in a statement issued today and received by IraqiNews.com: “Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived this morning in the Islamic Republic of Iran based on an official invitation.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The visit will take one day, indicating that he will discuss with Iranian officials the bilateral relations between the two countries and security developments faced by Iraq and the region.”
