10 wanted persons arrested, smuggled vehicles, munitions seized

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Ten persons wanted on “criminal and terrorist” charges were captured and dozens of smuggled vehicles and an amount of munitions were seized during search raids in different areas of Basra, a local security source said on Friday. “Nine wanted on criminal charges and one on terrorist charges were arrested in the search raids in Basra,” the source told Iraqi News. “The security forces also seized 32 smuggled vehicles in the port of Abi Fallous as well as six mortar shells in the area of Jekour, (25 km) southern Basra,” he added.
