4 robbery gangs busted in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested four robbery gangs in Basra during Eid, a media source from the province’s police said Wednesday. “The arrests took place after robberies at some neighborhoods of Basra city,” the source told Iraqi News. He pointed out that the arrests relied on intelligence tip off. “The arrested suspects admitted that they committed crimes throughout Basra,” the source said. He did not mention further details.
