Diyala police seizes warehouse of explosives northeast of Baquba

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – On Saturday, Diyala police commander Brigadier General Jassim al-Saadi announced the destruction of a big warehouse for improvised explosive devices northeast of Baquba.
Al-Saadi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “the security forces of Diyala police have carried out today a raid and search operation in Thelab Valley within Imam Wis area (65 km north east of Baquba) resulted in the seizure of a huge warehouse belonging to ISIS containing 200 adhesive bombs and 66 explosive devices and six explosive belts.”
“The operation based was on accurate intelligence,” Saadi added.
The security forces in Diyala seized several caches and warehouses of explosives belonging to extremist organizations in different parts of the province over the past months.
