45 arrested on criminal charges in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen on Friday arrested 45 men wanted on criminal charges and one suspect and seized two small arms and a landmine during security raids all over the province of Basra on Friday, a security source said. “The raiding forces arrested 45 wanted men on criminal charges and seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a gun and landmine near auto stores in the western part of the city on Friday (Oct. 2),” the source told Iraqi News.
