35 dead and wounded in Diyala bombing
(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – The Council of Mandali in Diyala province announced on Wednesday, that the outcome of the bombing of Neda region reached 35 dead and wounded, stressing that a commission of inquiry has been formed into the incident.
The head of the Council Azad Mandalawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The final outcome of the car bomb, which exploded near the house of an elder of Neda tribe in Haitham Aliwi village on the outskirts of Neda area (57 km east of Baquba), stood at 14 dead and 21 wounded.”
“The case of some of them is very critical,” indicating that “the security services formed an urgent commission of inquiry in circumstances of the incident.” Mandalawi added.
