49 people killed, wounded after a mortar attack on Fallujah
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – According to a medical source in Fallujah General Hospital in Anbar province, 49 people had been killed and wounded, after a mortar attack on the city on Wednesday.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “The Fallujah General Hospital received the bodies of 11 people, including two women and four children, and 38 wounded, including 15 women and 11 children as a result of the exposure of their homes to mortar shelling in different areas of the city.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “the bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine,” noting that, “the injuries of the wounded varied between medium and critical”.
