Iraqi police foils attack by 2 booby-trapped vehicles on Albu Jawari north of Tikrit

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province announced, that the federal police had foiled a terrorist attack by two booby-trapped vehicles on a site for the security forces in the area of Albu Jawari in north of Tikrit.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, informed IraqiNews.com, “Today, a force belonging to the fourth brigade of the federal police was able to destroy two booby-trapped vehicles that were targeting the security forces in the area of Albu Jawari north of Tikrit,” adding that, “The force detonated the vehicles and killed everyone inside them without any casualties.”
