Iranian Foreign Minister arrives in Baghdad on official visit

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived on Monday in the capital Baghdad on an official visit.
The reporter of IraqiNews.com said that the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has just arrived in the capital of Baghdad from Najaf province.
The reporter added that Zarif will meet with senior Iraqi officials to discuss the latest political and security developments in Iraq and the region, in addition to Iran’s nuclear program.
Zarif arrived earlier to the province of Najaf, where he visited the supreme religious authority Ali al-Sistani and gave him a general report on the progress of nuclear talks and regional issues, pointing out that there is an urgent need for coordination between the countries in the region to counter extremism and sectarianism.
