8 civilians killed, wounded in IED blast

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Eight civilians on Monday were killed or wounded when an explosive charge went off north of Diwaniya province, according to a local security source. “Today, a sticky improvised explosive device (IED) hit a bus coming from Babel province in al-Saneyya district (15 km north of Diwaniya), killing six civilians and injuring two others,” the source told Iraqi News.
