15 cops arrested following Diwaniya blast

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A total of 15 policemen were arrested on Monday by the Diwaniya police department after the blast that took place in northern Diwaniya, a security source said. “The Diwaniya police department arrested on Monday (Sept. 28) 15 policemen, including two officers, for investigation after the bombing attack that occurred by a sticky bomb in northern Diwaniya,” the source told Iraqi News. A police source had said earlier that a bomb, stuck to a bus coming from Babel, went off in al-Sunniya district, 15km north of Diwaniya, killing six civilians and injuring two.
