Three arrested in anti-terror raids

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces have arrested three would-be bombers in Ninewa’s Mosul city with explosives in their possession, according to a local security source. “During a late hour last night, a local police force arrested a three-member network in al-Muthanna neighborhood, northern Talafar (60 km northwest of Mosul),” the source told Iraqi News. “During preliminary investigations, those arrested have confessed to having planned a double suicide bomb attack in Talafar…,” the source indicated. “They were waiting for two other members, who were expected to carry out the operation,” the source explained. “Explosive equipment was found in their possession,” the source added.
