Iraqis on a date with victory in Anbar and Baiji, says Defense Minister

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi announced on Saturday, that the Iraqis are on a date with a victory in Anbar province and Baiji district east of Tikrit, believing that the unity of Dhuluiya people and al-Hashed al-Shaabi fighters foiled the “sectarians bets.”
According to a ministry statement received by iraqiNews.com, Obeidi said during his visit to Balad Air Base: “the Iraqis are on a date with a victory in Anbar and Baiji”, adding that, “our valiant military regained the confidence of the people.”
Obeidi added: “The epic solidarity between the people of Dhuluiya and al-Hashed al-Shaabi fighters shot down the sectarians bets,” pointing out that, “the heroic resistance of the people of Dhuluiya against ISIS terrorist gangs reflected the will of the life of the Iraqis and their defense for their dignity.”
