Cop, soldier killed in separate incidents in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One policeman and a soldier on Sunday were killed in two separate incidents in Mosul city, according to a local police source. “Unknown gunmen opened fire on a patrolman in al-Maydan area, downtown Mosul, killing him on the spot,” the source told Iraqi News. “Other gunmen shot down a soldier at a checkpoint in Darkazly area, eastern Mosul,” according to the same source.
