2 policemen wounded in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen were wounded in clashes with gunmen in a checkpoint in western Mosul city on Saturday, a security source in Ninewa said. “Clashes erupted between gunmen and personnel in a National Police checkpoint in al-Thawra neighborhood, western Mosul, leaving two policemen wounded,” the source told Iraqi News. “One of them is seriously wounded as he received a bullet in the head,” he added, not giving further details.
