 Iraqi army destroys rockets launch site for ISIS in Haditha District

(IraqiNews.com) The commander of al-Jazeerah and al-Badiyah Operations Command, Major General Ali Ibrahim Daboun, said on Friday, that the army forces had managed to destroy a rockets launch site belonging to ISIS in Haditha District in western Anbar.

Daboun said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The artillery force of the army, under the command of al-Jazeerah and al-Badiyah Operations, was able to destroy a rockets launch base for ISIS in the area of al-Haqlaniyah in Haditha District (160 km west of Ramadi).”

He added, “The army forces also managed to dismantle three improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at a strategic axis used for supplying the army with logistic support in east of Haditha.”
