Iraqi soldier killed in central Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi soldier was killed by unidentified gunmen in central Mosul city on Saturday while he was on a regular leave, a police source in Ninewa said. “Gunmen opened fire on a soldier in central Mosul on Saturday (Sept. 19), killing him instantly. The soldier was on a regular leave of absence from his unit,” the source told Iraqi News. The source did not give further details.
