We are able to overcome the low oil price crisis, says Abadi

(IraqiNews .com) Baghdad – On Thursday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stressed on Iraq’s ability to overcome the drop in oil prices, pointing out that the decline has put Iraq in front of a difficult test.

Abadi said in a speech during the first workshop for the implementation of economic reforms followed by IraqiNews.com, “The drop in oil prices put us in front of a difficult test, especially in light of the war in which we live and its high costs,” calling out to the importance of “a mechanism for the continuation of the state.”

Abadi added, “We are able to overcome the crisis of the drop in oil prices in case of the cooperation of everyone,” stressing the need to “continue to beat corruption and bureaucracy.”
