2 killed in separate incidents in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A traffic policeman and a civilian were killed by unidentified gunmen in two separate incidents in the city of Mosul on Saturday, a local police source in Ninewa said. “Gunmen shot dead a traffic policeman near his house in East Ninewa area, eastern Mosul. The policeman was on a leave of absence when the attack occurred,” the source told Iraqi News. “In a separate incident, an improvised explosive device went off at the Mafraq al-Qiyara area, south of Mosul, killing a civilian man who was driving his truck there,” the source said.
