IED explodes in Talafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An improvised explosive device (IED) on Tuesday went off in northern Talafar district, causing no casualties, according to a local security source. “This morning, a roadside explosive charge detonated in al-Muthanna neighborhood (60 km northwest of Mosul), leaving no casualties,” the source told Iraqi News. The blast caused damage to several nearby houses, the source explained. A security cordon has been thrown in the place and a search for suspects is in progress, the source added.
