Al-Maliki accepts Burham Saleh’s resignation to allow his nomination for Kurdish premiership

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq ‘s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki agreed on the resignation presented by his deputy Burham Saleh because of his nomination for Kurdistan ‘s premiership, according to a spokesman for the Iraqi government. “Al-Maliki accepted Burham Saleh’s resignation because his nomination for the Kurdistan region’s premiership,” Ali al-Dabagh said in a statement received by Iraqi News, noting that al-Maliki asserted his pride and commitment of the joint work with Saleh for the good of the Iraqi people.
